Yamashiro Trucking began operations as a small dump trucking company in 1957. Ed Yamashiro, founder, began with the same entrepreneurial “Yes, We Can!” spirit that is at the core of Yamashiro’s values today.

Ed, with his sons and daughters, grew the business with typical start up challenges into one of largest trucking companies in Oahu. With the passing of Ed Yamashiro in 2005, Aaron Yamashiro became the president of the company. Aaron Yamashiro, who wears many hats, has been working with Ed since the 1960’s as vice president, controller, and a driver as well.

We always strive to improve our service to the time-sensitive customers in virtually every transportation environment.
