WTF began hauling concrete for the parent company 4 Winds Concrete then added dump trucks, trailers, and cement tankers to haul aggregates and cement to their plants for ready mixed concrete. When they started their crushing venture, they saw a need for a tractor and trailer to move the machines to and from the sites and after a short period of having an outside source move their oversized/overweight machines they then decided to add a Tri-axle tractor and a 60 ton drop deck trailer, making it possible to move oversized and overweight*. With these additions, WTF can move almost anything you need whether in a dump truck or trailer, or on a flatbed, lowboy, or permitted load truck covering the east coast.
How do I prepare my appliances for moving?
Appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators must be disconnected, and the washer
must have a stabilizer installed. Again, your estimator can help you understand how these
items are properly serviced. All local moving companies have business relationships with
local service providers that handle this type of service, however full service moving
companies and national moving companies will also be able to provide all of the moving
services you require. Be sure you know who your mover will be using, as you will need to let
these people into your home to provide the service.
How do I get an estimate?
Once you have compiled a list of movers, inform them of the destination and timing of your
move. Ask them about the types of services they offer. Also ask them to explain their
estimates in detail and to give you a copy. If any company refuses to give you a written
