Wayne is originally from Trinidad and Tobago but came to Ontario in 1988 on the farm program in Tobacco. He stayed on the farm program for six years returning to Trinidad each winter. In 1996, he moved to the Norfolk area to settle down and purchased a black 1974 Chevy pickup truck for $1500. Having the truck, opened up new doors for Wayne when people he knew began asking for his help to move something for them. That was the start of his new business. He soon was able to purchase a cub van and began moving items in Ontario, to Nova Scotia, Winnipeg and south into the United States.

Today, WJ Moving & Storage is one of the leading moving companies in the Haldimand and Norfolk area relocating hundreds of families and businesses each year. W J Moving is still small enough to offer personal service but large enough to handle almost any move at an affordable cost.
