Residential
We specialize in residential moving, with many of our moves involving a storage component (either in our warehouse or to/from your storage unit), a rental house or other temporary housing, or an additional stop along the way. We believe that the key to a successful and stress-free residential move starts with effective planning, both days/weeks prior to the move and on the move day itself. From properly packing your small items in boxes, protecting your large items and furniture with clean, premium moving pads, to securing everything in the most efficient and effective manner on the truck; we work hard but move smarter.

Office & Retail

At Valet Moving, we believe that Commercial moving is more science than art, and we take pride in our ability to make your office or retail transition as seamless as possible. We understand how disruptive a move can be to your business and will teach you our method and process as part of your “Commercial Move Masterplan,” which begins a full week (or longer!) before the actual move day.

We know that closing or even slowing down your business or firm for a single day to allow for a move is an inconvenience, and is only made worse if you then must spend the next day(s!) unpacking and trying to get back up to speed. For that reason we have devised a strategy that includes us working with your IT company, internet/phone service providers, administrative staff, and building property management to plan a ‘zero downtime’ move for your business and its daily operations. From the way we load the truck with your office furniture, to the manner in which we pack and transport your computers, artwork, and confidential client files, you will have the peace of mind that comes from hiring true professionals.

Specialty

Valet Moving can handle the specialty items you need moved with extra care or via unique methods, as well as single items and valuables such as art, antiques, pianos, and family heirlooms. Depending on the size and scope of the job, we sometimes use smaller specialized vehicles and trailers which provide a more fuel efficient method of transport, and passing those savings through to our customers is what allows us to still offer our topnotch white glove service at an unbeatable price.

These efficiencies give us the ability to offer you any number of customized delivery/moving services that can include multiple stops along the delivery route at no extra charge. In the event that you need short term storage of your items, we can provide up to 12 months of temporary safekeeping inside a secure climate-controlled facility. We also offer receiving services for our clients when you need merchandise shipped to us and removed from a third party shipper’s truck at our loading dock.

Storage
Valet Moving is the largest tenant in a state-of-the-art climate controlled 70,000 square foot warehouse facility built in 2011. We offer a full range of receiving and storage solutions for all your moving needs, whether you need to store items for one week or one year. Our facility has two loading docks, customer restrooms, and an ultramodern HVAC system installed to ensure that your personal property and valuable heirlooms are stored in an environment just as safe (if not moreso!) as your home or office. Our warehouse never gets colder than 64 degrees, nor warmer than 79 degrees, year-round.

Q How long in advance should I contact movers?
