Great Movers serves Daytona, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna, Flagler, Palm Coast, Port Orange, Hammock Dunes, Deland, Orange City, Deltona, St Augustine, Debary, Daytona Shores, Ponce Inlet, Edgewater, Wilbur by the Sea, Matanzes, Bunnell, Ponce Deleon Springs, Lake Mary, Sanford, Lake Helen, Ormond by the Sea, Orlando and Tampa.
On small jobs the minimum charge is $150.00 CASH. Non cash convenience fee for processing credit/debit cards is 5%=$158 minimum charge. $150 per hour Truck2men; $190 per hour Truck3Men; and $230 per hour Truck4Men. Special coupons and internet special only. $150 ($158 by Credit/Debit card) This buys 1 ½ hours of working time after the free estimate. You must mention special at time of appointment (no refunds). After the free estimate Great Movers starts charging for their time – not before. Many movers start charging for their time when they leave their office. After the free written estimate with a maximum guaranteed price for that day.
Our travel time to and from a job is only a half hour so the customer is only charged for 15 minutes of travel time each way, even if the actual travel time is longer.
For local moves we include in the $158.00 initial minimum charge up to 20 miles. Additional mileage charges are based on the current price of diesel fuel. We also include the moving pads, dollies, and hand trucks for moving large items.
Customers can choose to purchase only the minimum time at $158 for a local move of less than 20 miles. For this kind of job we will load the truck with the items the customer chooses for up to 45-50 minutes and then travel to the destination and unload. Actual loading time will vary depending on time needed to travel between original and destination. Additional variables to consider are stairs or long carries as well as location of unloading at destination. Obviously we cannot guarantee this will be all of the customers household goods, but it may meet the budget needs if the customer can move the remaining household goods in their personal vehicles.

Our 24x8x8 truck and trailer is approximately the size of the largest rental truck offered by national brands and will move a one or two bedroom apartment (all large items and furniture). A second trip may be needed for the small items and boxes depending on how well the boxes are packed, closed, taped and cubed so that they are able to be stacked. We offer packing services for complete moves to pack your household goods, wrap your furniture as needed with shrink wrap, moving pads, and protect your mirrors and framed pictures between sheets of plywood after wrapping in quilted pads. Wardrobe boxes are available $20.00 each. Packing supplies such as boxes, tape, newsprint, bubble wrap, and all supplies are in addition to hourly charges for labor and trucks and can be included on written estimates upon request for packing services. Ask if you qualify for free boxes on out of state or long distance moves that “we” are packing for you.
