Transport Rivière-du-Loup has specialized in refrigerated and food transport since 1989. The family business offers personalized and optimized service to meet your needs for volume deliveries by trailer or closed truck.
It is moreover with the aim of satisfying its customers that in 2018, Transport RDL decided to diversify its operations with the acquisition of Livre Tout, a parcel company of expertise, since 1996. This new subsidiary, RDL Courrier , is administered with the same know-how as Transport RDL. Two divisions whose primary goal is to support you in the transport of your packages for your largest shipments.
DEDICATED TRANSPORT
Dedicated transport is the fastest transport by road. Unlike groupage transport, dedicated transport involves transporting only one load in a trailer, in this case yours. This will be chosen according to the characteristics of your shipment (the number of pallets, the nature: frozen or refrigerated, the size, the volume, etc.).
We offer this service from your facilities and we can deliver your cargo in full loads or in multiple deliveries. We have single or multi-temperature trailers to meet your needs.
MULTI-DELIVERY TRANSPORT
Considering that our trailers are single temperature or multi temperature, this allows us to have a flexible, effective and very efficient service to adapt to your needs. Combined with our know-how, we can offer the multi-delivery service at a competitive cost.
OUR FLEET OF DELIVERY VEHICLES
Transport Rivière-du-Loup has a modern vehicle fleet of more than 55 trucks and 110 trailers, either refrigerated at single or multi-temperature. Our equipment is at the cutting edge of technology to ensure constant control of your cargo. We want to assure you of the preservation of the quality of the products and guarantee that the temperatures are respected.
Local (intrastate) moves are generally based on a per-hour cost for the personnel and
the number of vehicles that the mover provides (up to a certain distance, with longer
distances based on the weight of your shipment and the mileage it is transported) and the
level of liability that the mover will cover in the event of loss or damage is generally
less than would apply for an interstate move.
Once you have compiled a list of movers, inform them of the destination and timing of your
move. Ask them about the types of services they offer. Also ask them to explain their
estimates in detail and to give you a copy. If any company refuses to give you a written
estimate, you should eliminate them from consideration. Then carefully compare to see which
mover best suits your needs and budget.
The cost of your move will be based on the actual weight of your belongings and the distance
they are shipped, plus the amount of packing and other services that you require.
To help you anticipate the cost of your move, movers will give you an estimate of the price.
Be sure to get written estimates from at least 3 different movers so that you can compare
their services and prices.
