About Transport Carrier Services (TCS)

Departments of transportation throughout the country have come to know us as reliable, prompt, and accurate, and in many cases have extended their compliments to us for the quality of work that TCS submits.
TCS was established over three decades ago and has been a successful ADOT/MVD 3rd-Party Contractor for nearly twenty years.
We have added services and created partnerships for the benefit of our customers as the transportation industry has evolved.

Many of our customers are Arizona resident companies both large and small, however, we also serve clients in several other states as well as Canada and Mexico.

Computer equipment and the software we use are continually upgraded to accommodate industry demands. Training is ongoing so our staff is uniquely qualified to serve you.

Our mission is simple: The dollars you invest in your business should bring added value. When you entrust the TCS staff with a portion of those dollars, you should expect a good product in return. That is our mission.

Our Services

Offload some of your paperwork to our knowledgable staff so you can focus on what you do best!

IRP / Title & Registration

If you happen to be an Arizona-only (intrastate) commercial trucking company or if you have a mix of intrastate and interstate fleets, TCS can serve all of your registration needs.

Annual Form 2290

You must show evidence of payment of your 2290 tax before you will be allowed to register or renew a qualified vehicle. Let TCS handle this process for you year after year.

Fuel Tax Reporting

The experts in our tax department make it their business to know the answers to those complicated questions that can plague the timely and accurate reporting of your fuel taxes.

Authority Filings

If you haul products, passengers, or equipment for-hire across state lines, you are required by the Federal Highway Administration to be authorized to do so. The application for federal authority can often be confusing. Our experts can help!

Q What’s the difference between less than truckload and full truckload?

Less than truckload (LTL) shipping allows multiple shippers to share space on the same
truck while full truckload shipments typically travel on only one truck with one destination.

Q What is an NMFC number?

The National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) allocates a specific number to each product
that could be shipped. That is the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) that pairs to the
freight class best suited for the product. It’s important to include the NMFC number on the bill of
lading to reduce chances of reclassification.
