We follow a process while doing household moving. It starts with the movers calling about half an hour before the scheduled time. Upon arrival, the movers park the truck at a convenient spot while following all city regulations and have a look at the stuff that needs to go and clear the pathway by putting door stoppers. Floor runners and booties are used on floors and carpets to prevent scratches and extra dirt.

After that, items such as dining table, dresser mirrors, beds, patio swings and cribs are dismantled if not already done. Mattresses are protected by covers and furniture by shrink wrap. Padded blankets are used for glass items, TVs, marble tops, mirrors and other delicate items. Wardrobe boxes are provided for the clothes and regular boxes are provided if asked by the customer beforehand. All the stuff is then carefully put in the truck and stacked to cover the full volume of the truck. Various types of dollies are used for different items. If needed, the doors are removed as well to be able to maneuver the items properly.

After the transportation of the stuff to the new place, the stuff is put at the respective places and the furniture is assembled back according to the directions of the customer.
