About Us
The Peregrine Company was founded in 1994 as a scrap metal and recycling company. In 2011 The Peregrine Transportation Company was founded to start hauling The Peregrine’s Company’s freight needs to better service our customers. Peregrine takes great pride in being honest with our customers, drivers and office team. Peregrine has an extensive knowledge buying, selling and transporting metals of all kinds.

Our Peregrine Transportation Team has a strong background in the transportation industry and our fleet, although they specialize in transporting metals of all kinds, has transported a wide variety of products throughout the entire USA.

Peregrine’s corporate office is located in beautiful Anchorage which is nestled in the northeast sector of Louisville, KY. Our office is surrounded by parks, restaurants and walking paths.

Our Partners
Steel Processing, distribution, 3PL, warehousing and heavy haul are offered through our partner company Eagle Steel & Metal Products (ESMP) which was purchased in March of 2019 by Shelby Ray Throneburg and her father Stuart Ray. ESMP has a 140,000 SQ FT Class 1 storage facility with overhead cranes and a very experienced staff.

ESMP is headquartered in Louisville, KY, and offers a fleet of trucks that transport metals of all kind. We haul freight in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia and eastern Illinois. The fleet is equipped with conestogas, side kits and flatbeds having the ability to haul permitted loads up to 120,000 lbs gross.
