The Delivery People

The Delivery People was initially established as a cartage company in 2006 on Maui. When ownership recognized how difficult it was to transport goods throughout the Hawaiian Islands, they realized that there was an opportunity to offer a door-to-door solution to their customers. By 2008, an office was opened on Oahu, and they began handling Air Freight and Ocean Freight for their clients throughout Hawaii. The owners had a “whatever it takes” attitude and a 24/7/365 mentality and they personally trained the management staff with that in mind. Many of that original staff are still on board today, maintaining their mission.

From 2010 through 2016 the Hawaii locations expanded with new, larger facilities, and an office was opened in Los Angeles. In recent years, TDP has expanded their business offerings to serve Alaska, American Samoa, Guam, and Puerto Rico as a full-service offshore market solution.

The Delivery People offers a variety of transportation services from Air and Ocean Freight to Storage and Warehousing, as well as Pick Up & Delivery, Special Projects, and White Glove Service. No cargo is too big or too small, TDP ships it all.

FREIGHT FORWARDING
The Delivery People specializes in consolidation of freight, shipping to and from the following locations: all Hawaiian Islands, Los Angeles, Alaska, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Guam. Our services are constantly being expanded to offer the most robust shipping solutions possible for our customers.

Once delivered to our TDP or partner warehouse, our freight services staff can pack, crate, and consolidate your products for you to get them to their final destination. We may also assist with de-consolidation and short or long-term storage of your freight.

TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED
Temperature-controlled warehousing capability is vital to the wide variety of our partners. We understand that certain products require different environments, which is why our facilities and vehicles can provide different temperatures depending on your unique needs.

Our warehouses and distribution centers are near airports and ports. TDP offers temperature-controlled vehicles to transport goods to the door at your desired temperature. We have created services with our customers in mind — offering scalable solutions to meet developing needs.

WAREHOUSING & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

In addition to our shipping services, The Delivery People offers end-to-end inventory management, planning and handling. Our distribution capabilities are simple and efficient, and we can work with goods of all sizes and requirements. Our secure, access-controlled facilities have full-video monitoring and recording to ensure your goods are secure at all times. Electronic inventory management systems can also give you consistent updates about your volume and activity. When needed, we can also assist with shipment consolidations, de-consolidations, and cross-dock service.

SHORT & LONG-TERM STORAGE

You can safely store products at any of our facilities in Hawaii and Los Angeles. TDP can handle products of any size in our open floor space or stack your goods in our state-of-the-art racking system. Our inventory management system also gives you immediate access to your volume and activity in our warehouses.
