Established in 1983, Texas State Movers has worked tirelessly at setting the bar when it comes to quality moving services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We understand that moving can often prove to be a stressful process and, regardless of the type of move, the assistance of professional experts is an invaluable asset. That’s why we uphold the motto: “Protecting Your Valuables Like They Were Our Own.”
The owner of Texas State Movers, George Munstedt, adheres to a sense of integrity outside of work as well. Actively involved in the community, George is the founder and executive board member of an after-school program called Life After School. This program provides affordable after-school care for elementary and middle school students from underprivileged families in the area.
The Munstedt family also has a non-profit organization, Grace Garden, that trains young leaders to care for orphan, at-risk and foster children through leadership training and volunteer work in the US and Guatemala.
George is also a member of the Dallas Harlequins Rugby Club and coached the U-19 Colts, a high school club team. His dedication to his community and its members reinforces his commitment to excellence in all areas of life, highlighting the importance of teamwork and superior, quality-focused service.
Our goal is to provide our customers with only the most efficient, convenient and inexpensive moving services available today.
These services include:
Residential moving
Long distance moving; both in-state and out-of-state
Commercial moving
Corporate relocation
Removal of junk or unwanted items
Boxes and packing materials available for purchase
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
The busiest times for moving companies are typically during the summer months, May-September.
If you are planning a move during that time you should make arrangements early.
Friday and Saturdays are big moving days so if you have flexibility in your schedule it can
be easier to get a date during the week rather than a weekend.
