We got our start way back in 1893, hauling freshly harvested hay across cobblestone streets by horse drawn cart to the bustling Port of Baltimore.
Over the last 125 years or so we’ve grown to over 2 million sq.ft. of warehouse space, strategically located throughout the Mid Atlantic region.
TTS (Terminal Transportation Services), a division of The Terminal Corporation, owns a fleet of over 50 power units, providing regional transportation solutions, as well as service in and around the Port of Baltimore.
Terminal Transportation Services (TTS), a division of The Terminal Corporation, specializes in just-in-time, on-demand delivery.
Products or shipments that are time-sensitive or susceptible to damage, are shipped by truck, rail or drayage via the Port of Baltimore. Point-to-point, no-touch trucking services are offered by flatbed, dry van and conestoga within 150 air-mile radius of Baltimore, MD.

Do I need LTL or full truckload?
Great question and something our team of experts can help you determine. LTL is typically ideal for
freight shipments larger than parcel or small package, but short of the space required of a
full truckload shipments. However, other factors like distance and value may play into the decision.
What are the differences between FTL Services and LTL Services?
FTL stands for Full Truckload. A shipment that is over 10,000lb or takes up an entire truck by
itself is considered Full Truckload. One of the main characteristic of an FTL Services is that it
will take your shipment on a long haul, making one trip from point A to Point B without transferring
the cargo.
LTL stands for Less Than Truckload. If you have 200 pounds of freight to transport, you’ve got an LTL
shipment. It takes just a section of the truck and the cargo is safely consolidated with other shipments
that may be picked up and distributed in the same area.
