Fine art trucking and installation since 1985

Prompt, conscientious, careful and skilled when packing, moving and installing my work. I never hesitate to release my paintings to him and find Jack to be very pleasant to work with and a thorough professional in every way. It is without hesitation that I can recommend Jack Dingas / Tad Day Trucking.

– Wolf Kahn

Thank you to Jack Dingas and his partner, Henry, our super-human art shippers who always finds a solution to every shipping crisis.

Q What’s the difference between less than truckload and full truckload?

Less than truckload (LTL) shipping allows multiple shippers to share space on the same
truck while full truckload shipments typically travel on only one truck with one destination.

Q What is an NMFC number?

The National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) allocates a specific number to each product
that could be shipped. That is the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) that pairs to the
freight class best suited for the product. It’s important to include the NMFC number on the bill of
lading to reduce chances of reclassification.
