Stryder’s origins go back to 1989 when we opened as a boutique JIT (Just-in-Time) delivery service in Greater Vancouver for our sole customer with six trucks and eighteen trailers.

By 2005, we had formed a solid vision of a consolidated service platform for our growing group of customers, in addition to achieving consistent on-time performance, year after year. Over the next decade, this vision was refined by bringing together the Transportation, Warehousing and Distribution of production materials for a number of Canadian beverage clients.

With proof of execution that streamlines procurement and production planning to never-before-seen levels, Stryder has grown to become one of the largest asset-based logistics providers in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwestern USA. Today, we are the vital link between suppliers and every major bottler in the region.

Transportation
With our modern, company-owned fleet of 53’ food-grade trailers and over 500 units in operation, we provide safe and reliable Motor Freight Transportation Services for some of the biggest food, beverage, and packaging companies on the planet. Maintaining strong relationships with our clients and consistent, world-class support has allowed us to adapt and thrive, growing into one of the premium 3PL (third-party logistics) companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Through our commercial contract services, we continue to seek out and develop dedicated Tri-Party distribution opportunities. By bringing together and balancing the requirements of our business partners across a variety of industries, we generate long-term cost and service advantages for all of our stakeholders.

Warehousing
We have over 1 million square feet of food-grade warehousing space — that covers more than 15 football fields in total! With facilities in Vancouver, Calgary, and Washington State, we’ve got the tools and services to exceed our clients’ storage requirements. We also know that communication is key, which is why our customers at Stryder have complete visibility of their information with 24/7 online access to inventory, warehouse management tools and customized reporting.

Our state-of-the-art, food-grade certified facilities also provide both our domestic and overseas clients with a diverse range of materials-handling programs, including bulk, racked, and case-pick services. Whether we’re working with a small, local niche company or some of the world’s largest corporations, we match our performance to the highest levels of integrity in meeting each of our customers’ specific needs.

Logistics
With mirror facilities and services on both sides of the border, our US and Canadian customers are given the opportunity to reduce their vendors under our seamless and convenient Consolidated Services Platform. By eliminating concerns over cross-border commerce, we allow our clients to be more flexible and performance-focused in their respective markets, which gives us the refined ability to understand, coordinate, and execute on the critical service metrics associated with our customers’ industries.

Our Logistics & Brokering division now offers Intermodal, Air Freight, LTL, OTR, and Refrigerated Freight to customers across North America. Along with this new expansion, we also provide Live Tracking & Tracing, with support from a team of knowledgeable and friendly staff, as well as competitive rates to suit your company’s options.
