Customer Support
Have a question? Don’t hesitate, we are here for you 24/7 365 days out of the year.
Our prices are based on current market trends. Your total expense will depend on the type of car you want to move, where it needs to go, it’s conditions and modifications, the transport distance and whether you would like an open or closed trailer shipment.
Vehicle Size
Longer, taller, or heavier-than-average vehicles require special accommodations and will be more expensive to ship.
Carrier Type
Open transport is standard and the cheapest option. Enclosed transport is at least 35% more expensive as only about 2% of all carriers have enclosed trailers.
Vehicle Condition
Shipping inoperable cars cost more because it requires extra tools and labor. However, if your car rolls, steers, and brakes, we can ship it.
Shipping Distance
Longer runs a higher overall price but lower cost per mile. The further your vehicle travels, the more you save on an auto transporter.
In all likelihood, you will find that an on-site estimate based on a physical survey
of the items that you plan on moving will be more accurate than an estimate that you
provide to your mover over the telephone or the Internet. So, unless circumstances warrant
(normally due to the time constraints of a short-notice move or because you are only shipping
a few items) think carefully before you elect to waive the required physical survey
of your shipment.
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
