Since Ryan Transportation was founded over 35 years ago, we have grown consistently year after year, developing into a family of brands in transportation services, finance and technology. Our network has expanded to over 95,000 carriers across all modes and equipment types, ready to move freight throughout all of North America 24/7. Internally, our support teams have grown to more than 275 logistics professionals dedicated to serving you.

Our History
1986
Bill Ryan starts Ryan Transportation, a freight brokerage that served agriculture and commodity shippers. The company expanded into the Shamrock Trading Corporation family of brands as the needs of our customers grew.
1995
RTS Financial is started to help smaller trucking companies build cash flow and manage back-office tasks.
2004
RTS International is started to provide customized funding solutions to exporters in more than 40 countries.
2011
RTS Carrier Services is started to provide competitive fuel pricing and discounts for smaller trucking companies.
2013
RTS Pro, our mobile and web application, is launched to provide customers with convenient access to our services.
2016
ProTransport joins our family of brands to offer customers low-cost, simple trucking technology to help manage operations. Shamrock also expands to offices in Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL.
2018
Shamrock expands to offices in Dallas and Laredo, TX.
2019
Shamrock expands to an office in Midland, TX.
2020
Shamrock expands headquarters to include a third tower.
2021
Shamrock expands to an office in Atlanta, GA.
