We are an asset based trucking, warehousing, shipping, and distribution company conveniently located close to the Port of New York and New Jersey. With our variety of services options and years of experience, we’re here to do the job for you and do it right.

We pride ourselves on selecting the right people to provide the skills needed to excel in this demanding industry, our success is reflected by the longevity of our staff – over 85% of our staff have been working for Resources for more than 10 years. The warehouse staff and company drivers all benefit from Union membership ensuring medical coverage and pension benefits.

We offer the services directly. Unlike many other companies that resell services, Resources offers the services you need for a comprehensive solution. As our name implies, the principle was to develop a group of companies with the necessary resources to provide the shipping public with a Worldwide Total Transportation System.
From its inception, Resources philosophy has been with Effort, Friends, and Luck (EFL), we would be able to reach out to the transportation industry as a whole, to provide multiple services that would satisfy shippers from around the world.

We Have The Experience
Resources Trucking was incorporated in 1974 as our first step to start our concept of the total transportation service. We began with a fleet of trucks, and initiating a service for serving the public within 250 miles from the Port of New York and New Jersey. We are a U.S. Customs bonded trucking company providing both full container and less than container deliveries by offering a quality service and an excellent geographical location close to the NJ/NY Ports and major highways, we established ourselves as a reliable professional partner for several Tri State businesses. Subsequently, Resources applied and received ICC authority allowing us to serve our customers throughout the 48 continental United States.

With a variety of specialized equipment from straight trucks with liftgates, flatbeds, 53’ trailers, triaxle slider chassis accommodating either 20’ or 40’ containers, we can accommodate shipments from small parcels to oversize/overweight loads.

In the latter part of 1974, Resources Warehousing & Consolidation Services, Inc. was incorporated in order to start our second leg of our vision of a total transportation network.

We now offer, in addition to trucking, a warehousing and distribution service handling full containers and less than full containers. We also offer bonded and non-bonded storage plus a bonded Customs Freight Station allowing us to handle consolidated container shipments.

Located in North Bergen NJ, minutes from New York City, with 160,000 square feet of custom built, clean, organized warehouse space, Resources Warehousing & Consolidation Services, Inc offers a variety of distribution services, including inventory information upon receipt and shipment of product, status and activity reports, cross-docking of trailers and overseas container shipments, recouping, order-picking, shrink-wrapping, as well as on-site packaging/crating and labeling.
