Cliff Krug Sr. and his eldest son Scott started Regency Moving and Storage in 1987 out of Cliff’s Fairfax County basement with one truck. After graduating college in 1993, Cliff Krug Jr. joined his father and brother’s operation. Regency started out as a delivery service for fine furniture and antique stores. Together, over the past 27 years, they have grown Regency to be one of the finest full-service family owned and operated moving businesses in Northern and Central VA.

Today, Regency operates a fleet of 30 trucks and has two warehouse locations; one in Woodbrige, Virginia and the other in Richmond, Virginia. Through hard work, determination, and a wealth of experience, Regency can provide its customers with world class moving services.

We Provide Expert International Moving Services

We take expert care of you and your belongings during the international moving process. When you’re ready to move, our team of movers will prepare your current home with any needed padding or covers to protect the home during the move. We will carefully disassemble, wrap, and pack up your household goods. We will then load your household goods onto our trucks with the utmost care and protection to ensure your items will safely make it to your new home.

If any of your items need to be stored during the international moving process, we can provide both short- and long-term storage services. We provide climate-controlled warehouse spaces that will keep your belongings safe and dry. We pride ourselves on our careful and exact inventory management. Long Distance Moving

Intrastate Moving
To legally perform a move over 30 miles, the state of Virginia requires movers to be licensed and certified by the State Corporation Commission. This type of move is termed an “intrastate move.”

Regency Moving and Storage is a proudly licensed intrastate mover and is authorized to provide this type of moving service to its customers. It is important to note that intrastate moving is controlled and regulated by the State of Virginia for customer protection.

Our Northern Virginia office serves the entire Washington metropolitan area including Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Our Richmond Virginia office serves metropolitan Richmond as well as the outlying areas surrounding Virginia’s capital as far as Petersburg to the south, Williamsburg to the east and Charlottesville to the west.

Our moving team will do a “walk through” with the client to discuss any specific instructions for the move. Before starting, the movers will properly prepare the doorways, stairway railings, and main floor
areas with blanket padding where needed. Furniture is then prepared for transportation by disassembling the necessary items. Your household furniture is then wrapped with pads/blankets for protection. Shrink wrapping is also provided as needed. Your household goods are then properly loaded and securely strapped in the truck to insure safe transportation.
