R&A Trucking Company is an end to end regional asset based carrier with warehousing and transload expertise that provide seamless last mile delivery. R&A also provides nationwide coverage through our network of partnered asset based carriers to move freight to or from any destination in North America. Our suite of transportation services include: Flatbed trucking, drayage, container moving, van freight, oversized moves, end dump, roll off, lift gate service, piggy back forklift service.

Transportation Services for the Oakland, Stockton, Richmond and San Francisco ports. We handle international and domestic freight and cargo by land, air and sea.

WAREHOUSING FACILITY
Our all-inclusive 250,000 square foot warehousing facility is equipped to handle all modes of intermodal transport including rail, ship, and truck. Our facility also has direct access to a rail spur and the Port of Oakland, making any necessary changes in transportation modes quick and seamless. With a fleet of over 100 new (2013) trucks, we can accommodate a wide variety of freight and cargo including tall, wide, long and heavy loads. The combined features of our facility make us the leading full-service freight transport company in the San Francisco, Bay Area.

R&A Trucking is primarily a full truckload carrier (FTL) however, we also provide less-than-truckload (LTL) services for customers moving freight to multiple locations in the region.

INTERMODAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
R&A Trucking specializes in Intermodal container service for the Ports of Oakland, Richmond, San Francisco, Stockton and Lathrop to any United States destination. We have longstanding relationships with terminal operators at each port to help expedite your products from the port to their destination. Our logistics coordinators work with customers to determine the best mode of intermodal transportation so your containers can be moved in the most cost-efficient manner possible. We offer both rail and trucking options as part of our intermodal transportation services.

RAIL SERVICE
Our company’s rail services provide much more than the average logistics company. Our facility is equipped with a rail spur that runs directly behind our building. This unique component of our business allows your product to be brought directly to our warehouse so that it can be transloaded and distributed by rail to its final destination. Rail is faster, safer and often is more cost efficient than other intermodal options.

Because its bottom-line friendly, more customers than ever are utilizing rail and R&A Trucking has risen to the challenge. We have developed an expertise at handling a variety of rail equipment to efficiently transport your product to and from domestic locations. We work closely with the railroads in order to assist you in tracking your rail shipments, which can easily be tracked 24 hours a day.

INTERMODAL TRUCKING
Intermodal capable trucks are generally used to connect a container from ocean to rail or warehouse. These specialized trucks run between ocean ports, rail terminals, and inland shipping docks. However, there are times when trucks are primarily used in the movement of containers. R&A Trucking maintains a fleet of trucks capable for transporting cargo containers short distances or to destinations across the United States.

R&A Trucking offers complete warehousing and distribution services for the Industrial commodities industry, from large industrial coils to the smallest accessories. Our 250,000 square foot warehouse stores your goods economically, with real-time tracking, as if your products were in your own distribution center. Furthermore, our warehouse has staff on site 20 hours per day, ensuring our customers the highest level of security for their products.

Our warehouse also serves as our distribution center where we receive your goods, segregate them (if needed), place them into inventory, store and prepare them for distribution or final destination.
