Logistics Services.
Providence Freight Solutions is an Interstate Freight Forwarder with refrigerated warehouse operations in Flanders New Jersey. Our New Jersey warehouse, local fleet, and route optimization allows us to efficiently handle freight resulting in quicker transit times and competitive pricing. Our chore competency is LTL outbound from the Northeast specializing in distribution points in CA, IL, and FL, however we’re always expanding into new lanes of service. Through our pre-vetted driver/carrier network we also provide truckload services with experience in produce, beef/poultry, eggs and various other transportation services.
Temp Controlled LTL.
Shipping orders in smaller volume or multiple pickup/delivery points can be difficult, expensive, and few do it well. Our LTL services provide a reduction in freight costs while maintaining regular order fulfillment that meets transit requirements. We offer a tiered rate schedule reducing in price while volume increases to allow you to take advantage of competitive pricing.
Expedited Ground.
Navigating relationships with transportation companies can be overwhelming & time consuming, especially when it requires expedited service. We have a network of drivers and carriers that meet our own standards, but ultimately these are people we know well and trust. If your FTL needs require time sensitive moves, Providence is your answer!
Points of Service
Providence Freight Solutions LTL program all starts with our NJ warehouse. This consolidation for all Northeast originating orders serves as the point of sailing for our LTL orders. Today we service destination points in California, Illinois, and Florida on a weekly basis however we’re constantly evolving into new lanes of service. Additionally, we’re expanding LTL services outbound from California.
Appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators must be disconnected, and the washer
must have a stabilizer installed. Again, your estimator can help you understand how these
items are properly serviced. All local moving companies have business relationships with
local service providers that handle this type of service, however full service moving
companies and national moving companies will also be able to provide all of the moving
services you require. Be sure you know who your mover will be using, as you will need to let
these people into your home to provide the service.
Local (intrastate) moves are generally based on a per-hour cost for the personnel and
the number of vehicles that the mover provides (up to a certain distance, with longer
distances based on the weight of your shipment and the mileage it is transported) and the
level of liability that the mover will cover in the event of loss or damage is generally
less than would apply for an interstate move.
