WHAT DRIVES US
We build relationships with strategic customers and help with their supply chain. Working directly with our customers and carriers we show flexibility, value, cost savings, better utilization and will always work towards the common welfare for all involved.
Nowadays it is more important than ever to business owners and consumers that cargo is shipped safely and on time. When freight is expedited in the correct fashion there is not a lot of wasted time and/or stops between Point A and Point B. The routes that our seasoned drivers take are researched to be the most efficient in getting your cargo to its destination as promptly as possible. The cargo is as important to us as it is to your business, and we like to streamline the shipping process. When cargo is needed at a specific location within a certain timeframe, we make it our business to do just that. Our expedited services can be utilized by businesses as well as individual entities. Some of the more common ones are medical facilities who need emergency supplies in a timely fashion, or a factory that may need to immediately restock their inventory.
We at ProSport realize how important it is to keep to your schedule, so we make time a top priority. We want you to have the peace of mind in knowing that everything you want shipped will be there when you need it to be, with the ability to easily track your shipment with GPS.
A good trucking company should be able to cater to the needs of multiple kinds of businesses, ones that have many different types of cargo with a variety of brands that need to be transported. The first question we ask ourselves is, “How soon does your shipment need to arrive at its destination?” We all know that time is valuable and our experienced drivers have the mentality of maintaining great punctuality and timeliness with each and every one of their loads. The way we think about it is, ‘if we’re early we’re on time, and if we’re exactly on time then we’re late!’ This keeps us on schedule and ahead of the game every day.
At ProSport, we want to stand out from other contracting services in order to get your cargo moving faster than our competitors. One of the ways we do this is to use contracts with shorter-terms, along with utilizing our present experienced drivers. We always want to keep in mind how precious your cargo is, and our drivers have the type of attention to detail that gives you the peace of mind to know that your product will arrive safely and intact. We handle all of the cargo with care, knowing the total weight as well as its precise dimensions. For example, we at ProSport prepare any cargo on pallets when necessary, as well as utilizing straps and other mobile stabilizing techniques.
Sometimes, business owners and consumers may not be 100% aware of all of the shipping options that are available. For example, they may need a flatbed truck to be used, an option that makes it easy to load and unload your cargo quickly and efficiently. If your cargo is temperature sensitive, such as food products, then one of our refrigerated trucks may be utilized in order to keep the goods at the needed temperature from pickup to delivery. At ProSport, we cater to shipments of multiple kinds and sizes, and our quality trucks and trailers are equipped with the latest technology.
Loads can be of many different weights, shapes, and sizes, you want a company that has drivers who are especially skilled in handling flatbed semis. At ProSport, our flatbeds offer room for pop-up, surge, intermodal, and over dimensional. Our drivers have years of quality training, and safely secure your load each time. For example, we take pride in strapping down a load that has no loose or flapping straps, and pay attention to detail like no other when stabilizing your cargo. We provide quality service across many industries, and are only a call away from assisting you in your expedited shipping needs. We have several different kinds of flatbeds, such as single drops, double (with or without a detachable deck) stretch bed, or a single stretch drop.
ProSport carries on the tradition of excellent refrigerated trucking in the USA. Before refrigerated (A.K.A. reefer) trucks came along, it was hard to transport certain perishable items for long distances. If it wasn’t for these temperature-controlled transportation options, your customers would be limited to, say, only eating in-season fruits that are close to their homes!
The frozen food industry (and many others) as a whole could not survive without refrigerated trucking, and neither could many other companies and organizations. Over 30 million loads of products are shipped nationwide by refrigerated trucks every year, and that number doesn’t seem to be declining anytime soon
Companies like ProSport who offer refrigerated shipping options are sometimes referred to as being “cold chains”. In most ordinary shipping situations, goods are picked up at the manufacturer at the temperature that they are supposed to be, and delivered by our experienced drivers in a timely fashion to the appropriate destination. When thinking of refrigerated semis, many may automatically envision them at restaurants, cafeterias, and grocery stores, for delivering items like dairy products and meats. But, there are so many other important items that are transported by these trucks that promote the overall health of our society. For example, donated blood needs to arrive at medical centers across the country every day. Our dedicated drivers at ProSport make these vital deliveries happen while displaying outstanding customer service. Our refrigerated service offers multiple temperature-controlled solutions, including truckload, intermodal, and refrigerated LTL.
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.
In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.
Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.
This is a confusing (but important) task, so be sure that you clearly understand the rules
prior to load day.
Appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators must be disconnected, and the washer
must have a stabilizer installed. Again, your estimator can help you understand how these
items are properly serviced. All local moving companies have business relationships with
local service providers that handle this type of service, however full service moving
companies and national moving companies will also be able to provide all of the moving
services you require. Be sure you know who your mover will be using, as you will need to let
these people into your home to provide the service.
