Professional Packers & Forwarders was incorporated in 1980.

The company was designed to provide full services to a preeminent world auction house opening in Los Angeles, while simultaneously accomplishing all Western United States deliveries from the largest United Kingdom exporter of Antiques. Packing, crating, storage, and shipping arrangements were also offered to the Melrose Place Antique dealers, as well as to significant interior designers, who were the core importers of English antiques at the time.

In the 1990’s, it was decided that the company would develop temperature and humidity controlled storage to accommodate growing requirements of Museums as well as certain collector clients storing paper related historical documents. It was also decided that the company would design and have constructed several special trucks with custom air ride, climate control, and unusual doors with very large openings. We also customized the smallest air ride climate controlled truck in Los Angeles. Currently, we are working on a design for even larger trucks for 2017.

Propack maintains three concrete earthquake retrofitted warehouse facilities totaling over 100,000 square feet combined of temperature monitored storage.

All facilities are located west of the 405 freeway, within five minutes of LAX to minimize time and risk for international shipments.

Propack offers long and short term storage for museums, auction houses, interior designers, and private clientele. All of our facilities are under 24 hour monitored surveillance.

Climate controlled and monitored vaults are available upon request with monthly temperature and humidity readouts provided.

Propack operates a fleet of custom designed and constructed trucks of varying lengths and internal dimensions. The group includes a truck for which Propack is well known for due to its high cube capacity.

Sprinters are available for very small or expedited jobs.
