Custom Crating Services
Popeye is committed to providing crating when required. Crating is a logical solution for transporting items such as fine art and sculptures, mirrors, glass or marble tops, chandeliers, antiques and taxidermy, trophies and statues. Some objects cannot be safely packed and transported without being crated on-site. With proper planning, your moving team will arrive fully equipped for on-site construction and assembly of crates for these delicate or large objects.
Your estimator will guide you through The Popeye Process of crate-building and help you determine when it is necessary. Your estimator will customize a crating plan to suit your needs. Whether your crated belongings are being transported locally, long-distance or being prepared for international shipment, we have a plan to suit you.
Storage
Popeye offers a full-service storage option. This means we have a crew ready to provide a professional means to take on a very personal task… to take inventory of your belongings, pack, transport to our storage facility… and provide secure storage for as long as necessary. An estimator will customize this task to suit your needs and budget.
Vaulted Storage
Specifically constructed vaults provide 245 cubic feet of secure, dust free storage for the contents of a bedroom, pantry, office, or garage. Each 5’ x 7’ x 7’ Storage Vault provides optimum storage with your belongings properly protected and carefully packed into an efficient storage space.
Oversized and Custom Objects
Popeye provides a special area for the storage of large custom objects such as pianos, pool tables, sculptures, crated artwork, gym equipment, sofas, armoires, large tables, large rugs, etc. This service provides the perfect storage solution for large equipment, including props and sets for TV and film production. Each item is given specialized treatment required for storage. Once properly prepared for storage, the item is placed on racks for dust free, safe storage and easy retrieval.
