When you need MOVERS with more than just MUSCLE
We three partners started our logistics, transport and moving careers in Southern California. Seeing the opportunity to grow a thriving business, we decided to relocate to the Tempe-Phoenix area and create a terrific business. Pooling our savings, we purchased our first truck. Now, we have four trucks in our fleet serving the greater Phoenix area with plans to add more trucks this year.
As a departure from the usual moving company, we decided that having three owners allows us to better serve our clients, stay abreast of all moving assignments and be present and accountable for all of our client’s moving needs. In other words, we’re “hands-on”.
We are proud of our Poindexter Family. We now employ over twenty talented and hard-working folks in the Phoenix/Tempe area. We plan to add opportunities for even more hard-working and motivated individuals in our marketplace as we continue our phenomenal growth.
We did not invent moving or logistics transport, however, we recognize that our “difference” is in our people. We’re certain you’ll appreciate our “difference” and how that “difference” will take the stress out of your move.
Local Household Moves
We’ll load up your belongings and move you anywhere in Arizona. We’ll take the stress out of in-town moving and let you focus on other things. Local moves are charged on an hourly basis plus, travel time. The hourly rate includes the truck, moving team and basic moving materials such as tape, stretch wrap and moving pads.
The resources managed in logistics can include physical items such as food, materials, animals, equipment, and liquids; as well as intangible items, such as time and information. The logistics of physical items usually involves the integration of information flow, materials handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and often security.
Commercial Moves
For your commercial move, we’ll handle everything—from the transportation logistics to specialized packing to delivery—so you can rest assured that your items are in expert hands. We realize that time is money when moving an office or business, so we work closely with you to help meet your needs in a timely, efficient and focused manner. Our goal is to get you moved in as quickly as possible so you won’t lose operating time.

Pianos, Pool Tables, Gun and Other Specialty Objects
Items like pianos and pool tables aren’t just heavy—they’re delicate and notoriously difficult to move. But not for the expert movers at Poindexter Moving. We understand that you can’t just carefully place a piano onto a moving truck and hope nothing happens along the way. It takes a specialized loading procedure by an experienced professional to make sure it gets moved with no damage. So don’t trust your piano or specialty object to just anyone. Trust the team at Poindexter Moving.

If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
The busiest times for moving companies are typically during the summer months, May-September.
If you are planning a move during that time you should make arrangements early.
Friday and Saturdays are big moving days so if you have flexibility in your schedule it can
be easier to get a date during the week rather than a weekend.
