Meehan’s Family Moving CEO and Owner Mike Meehan is a third generation mover. His grandfather, Francis Meehan, started his own moving company in 1964 in Bergen County, New Jersey. Mike’s father moved from New Jersey to South Florida, where he then started his own moving company in 1990.

At age seven, Mike helped on his very first move and has been helping satisfied customers move ever since. After working with his dad and then running a crew for Atlas Van Lines from 2002-2011, Mike decided to take after his father and grandfather and open his own business.

Meehan’s Family Movers was born, and has since grown and now has several trained and experienced moving crews. Today, Mike leads the company with the knowledge and passion he learned from a very young age.

By embracing our family values from the very beginning, as we continue to grow, we have continually maintained honest, high-quality work. Each crew member is screened and fully-trained before joining Meehan’s Family Moving.
