McCall Trucking was founded in 1945 to serve the needs of the expanding telephone network throughout New England. Over the years, McCall has come to provide specialty last-mile transportation to a variety of customers in different industries such as healthcare facilities and hospitals, medical and scientific laboratories, and telecommunications centers. Our fully insured and climate-controlled warehouse is ideal for a wide variety of sensitive electronic equipment.
Our trucks are all equipped with air-ride suspensions and are driven by experienced CDL-holding drivers with certifications in Hazmat transportation and cleanup. All members of our warehouse staff have at least 15 years of experience in warehousing sensitive electronic equipment. We are fully insured for your equipment at all times.
McCall Trucking is now partnered with Southeast Transport in order to provide better service to our customers. We are now able to handle larger and more demanding jobs by combining forces.
Additionally, Southeast Transport operates a boom truck and rigging team which allows us to more flexibly and reliably complete demanding jobs without the need for an additional sub-contractor.
For more information about hoisting and rigging, please visit crane services.
Southeast Transport is located in West Wareham, MA and is therefore suited well to servicing southern Massachusetts, including the Cape, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and the other islands, as well as Rhode Island and Connecticut.
We vouch for their professionalism and competence in the transportation and warehousing of sensitive electronic equipment, commercial batteries, generator and power equipment, and much more!
Warehousing
We have a 21200 sq. ft. climate-controlled, fully insured, indoor warehouse which we use to store our customers’ items. We are able to handle complex projects due to this large capacity. Materials and equipment can be collected and held at our warehouse for as long as necessary to complete the job.
Our warehouse staff members all have 15+ years of experience moving large and sensitive equipment using forklifts and pallet jacks. They have HazMat training and have a full array of safety materials on hand.
We use a cloud-based electronic inventory management system that you can learn more about here.
If you have any further questions about our warehousing services or would like to request a quote, please contact us by phone or email.
Once you have compiled a list of movers, inform them of the destination and timing of your
move. Ask them about the types of services they offer. Also ask them to explain their
estimates in detail and to give you a copy. If any company refuses to give you a written
estimate, you should eliminate them from consideration. Then carefully compare to see which
mover best suits your needs and budget.
The cost of your move will be based on the actual weight of your belongings and the distance
they are shipped, plus the amount of packing and other services that you require.
To help you anticipate the cost of your move, movers will give you an estimate of the price.
Be sure to get written estimates from at least 3 different movers so that you can compare
their services and prices.
You have the right to receive an estimate based on a physical (in-house) survey of your
shipment. Under the regulations, your mover must base your estimate (either binding,
non-binding, or not-to-exceed), on a physical survey of the household goods to be moved if
the goods are located with a 50-mile radius of your mover’s (or his agent’s) place of business.
You may elect to waive this requirement for a physical survey, but if you elect to do so,
you must sign a written waiver of your rights.
