Making Moves Logistics Inc

Established in September 2020 amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Making Moves Logistics Inc. was founded by Doug Carter and Michael Pare with a clear vision in mind. Our goal is to provide exceptional service at affordable prices, specifically tailored to support local businesses in London and the surrounding areas.

Both Doug and Michael are proud graduates of Western University, deeply rooted in the local community. Witnessing the struggles faced by small businesses during these uncertain times, they saw an opportunity to make a difference. They realized that by offering delivery services to these businesses, they could provide an alternative solution to the costly courier services available. Fueling their determination, they acquired their first van in October and were ready to embark on their mission.

To expand their reach and better serve the community, Making Moves Logistics also partnered with TForce Logistics, a renowned logistics company, during the pandemic. This collaboration allowed them to leverage their expertise and resources while assisting TForce Logistics in meeting the growing demand for deliveries. Through this partnership, Making Moves Logistics showcased their commitment to supporting the local economy and fostering community growth.

By proactively reaching out to local businesses in need of delivery support, Making Moves Logistics quickly gained momentum. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and the demand for their services skyrocketed. In January 2021, Doug and Mike took the next step and officially incorporated the company at the federal level.

As the pandemic restrictions began to ease and customers started returning to in-person shopping experiences, the need for deliveries gradually diminished. Always agile and forward-thinking, Doug and Mike observed this shift and made a strategic decision to pivot into residential moving services.

Starting with smaller moves, their focus primarily centered on assisting seniors with downsizing. Making Moves Logistics earned a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and genuine care. Word of mouth quickly spread, and their business flourished. Today, Making Moves Logistics offers a wide range of moving services to cater to various needs, ensuring a stress-free and seamless experience for every client.
