Main Trucking & Rigging Co. is the merit shop speciality contractor of Randy Scott Corp., the holding company, and warehouse operator of heavy equipment. The original companies were started over 70 years ago. There has been continuous family ownership for three generations since inception.

Our facilities include a 40,000 square foot electronically heated warehouse with a 25 ton overhead crane, inside railroad siding and a 75 ton truck scale situated on 5 1/2 acres.

Our equipment consists of Heavy Duty Tractors, 33 Flatbeds, Low Boys, Drop Decks, Vans (with logistic strips for securing machinery), and Fork Lifts from 2,000 to 20,000 lb. capacity. Air Rides are available for your most delicate loads, Tilt Bed Trailers and Straight Trucks are available for ease of loading and unloading.

Our tool room has specialized Rigging and Millwright Equipment, including, Powered Hydraulic Jack Sets, Sophisticated Millwright Leveling Equipment, and Dial Indicators. Pipe Threading and Cutting Equipment, Plasma Cutters, Heli-Arc Welders, and Mig Welders are available for stainless steel and other types of welding jobs.

A 400 ton Four Posted Hydraulic Gantry, 80 ton Mini Jack System, and a 30,000 lb. Industrial Cherry Picker are part of Main’s specialized equipment to insure your project will be completed within budget and on schedule.

The Main Trucking and Rigging staff of experts includes men specially qualified for the dismantiling of large machines and equipment and the reinstallation at new job sites.

Airport/Plant/Dock Side/Rail Terminal
Uniquely situated at the intersection of Route 80 (the principal East-West U.S. Highway) and the Garden State Parkway, the Main Terminal and Warehouse is convenient to all major arteries in the New York, Northern New Jersey, Long Island complex, minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike and the George Washington Bridge.

Main can quickly deploy its equipment to the Ports of New York and New Jersey. All major railways and airports serving this Metropolitan area are minutes from Main Terminal located in the heart of the industrial Eastern megalopolis.

Main can service all major plants and manufacturing facilities in this area and provide them with same-day pickup for either local or long distance delivery.

Warehousing facility contains a 25-ton bridge crane which covers the 40,000 square foot warehouse.

The building has automatically operated overhead doors 20 ft. wide and 16 ft. high and is protected by an automatic sprinkler system. The warehouse is 38 ft. high and the security alarm system is connected directly to police headquarters.

A unique system of electric and gas radiant heat provides a comfortable working temperature through modern electronic controls. On the premises is a 75-ton truck scale.
