Moving Services:
Lucas Moving Co. offers moving services to all of our clients, including full-service moving, which includes a truck, labor, disassembly, and assembly. We will help you with your local or out-of-state move.
In addition to our full-service moving services, we also offer these moving services: wrap all furniture for ease of travel, labor only moving, heavy items only, and specialty items.

Packing Services:
Our two packing professionals get you packed quickly so that your move can be as stress free as possible. We will pack the items that you want us to pack or we can pack your entire home for you. Cleaning Services:
Are you on a time crunch or want to spend your valuable time on doing something other than cleaning? Let Lucas Moving Co. help you with move in and move out cleaning. We will do a basic cleaning for you before you move in or after you move out, or both! Our basic cleaning, includes: vacuum and sweep the floors, wipe down baseboards, scrub the shower/tubs and toilets, clean sinks, countertops, and kitchen appliances, and dust. Additionally, if you have a cleaning checklist, our team is happy to accommodate those needs as well.

Should I have the mover come to my home to look at my goods?
You have the right to receive an estimate based on a physical (in-house) survey of your
shipment. Under the regulations, your mover must base your estimate (either binding,
non-binding, or not-to-exceed), on a physical survey of the household goods to be moved if
the goods are located with a 50-mile radius of your mover’s (or his agent’s) place of business.
You may elect to waive this requirement for a physical survey, but if you elect to do so,
you must sign a written waiver of your rights.
Is it a good idea to get an estimate over the phone or via the Internet?
In all likelihood, you will find that an on-site estimate based on a physical survey
of the items that you plan on moving will be more accurate than an estimate that you
provide to your mover over the telephone or the Internet. So, unless circumstances warrant
(normally due to the time constraints of a short-notice move or because you are only shipping
a few items) think carefully before you elect to waive the required physical survey
of your shipment.
