ABOUT US
Lopes Trucking Service Inc. can handle a wide variety of your trucking and milling needs. We are a for-hire trucking carrier that specializes in hauling bulk animal feed ingredients and agricultural commodities. We have a modern fleet of lightweight trucks and trailers equipped to move bulk ingredients in either bottom hopper or walking floor trailers, as well as flatbeds and vans for more general freight. We also offer a full range of drayage services from the Port of Oakland to points throughout northern and central California. With our lightweight equipment, our drayage operation specializes in over loaded import and export containers.
Our feed mill is located in Modesto, CA and offers bulk transloading, bulk ocean container loading and unloading, as well as custom grinding, screening, blending, warehousing, and bagging capabilities. We also have a 70’ public truck scale on site. All inbound and outbound loads, bulk and bagged, are weighed on our scale to ensure all product weights are accurate. Our feed mill is FSMA compliant as well as APHIS approved for export.
How long in advance should I contact movers?
This is one of the most frequently asked moving questions. Often you don’t know when exactly
you will move and thus you can’t schedule your move in advance. It is best though if you can
start contacting movers at least a month in advance. The earlier the better because then you
will have the time to research the moving companies and schedule your move for the desired
day.
My move date changed. What should I do?
Contact your move coordinator as soon as you can if your move dates have changed.
He/she can process any changes to your plan and discuss updates; keep in mind your estimate
may change depending on the dates you selected.
