As a business customer, you can have inventory and other items shipped directly to your storage facility via shipping services or courier.
Vehicle Storage
If your vehicle depends on vehicles, but you don’t have the space to park them – Life Storage offers convenient vehicle parking spaces. Trailers, box trucks, delivery vans, and other common buisness vehicles can be parked and stored or parked and accessed every day.
Before you choose your space:
Select from inside storage for vehicles that will fit into a space, as well as outdoor parking and in some locations, covered parking.
Measure your vehicle before selecting a storage space! Note that the vehicle you wish to store must meet the following requirements:
Vehicle must be in running condition or on a trailer.
You must show registration and/or title.
In some states, vehicle storage is taxed at a different rate. The tax charges will be included and shown in the storage cost estimates.
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
The busiest times for moving companies are typically during the summer months, May-September.
If you are planning a move during that time you should make arrangements early.
Friday and Saturdays are big moving days so if you have flexibility in your schedule it can
be easier to get a date during the week rather than a weekend.
