Our Story
2014 – Founded by two brothers, Kina Trucking was not just an idea to start their own trucking business venture. It was an idea to implement their experience as drivers and form a company which recognizes values of each individual that joins their venture. With strong family values, diversity, and unique work atmosphere, they recognzied the value of “you don’t work a day when you love what you do.”
2014-2019 – Kina Trucking went from 2 trucks to 10, and added a terminal in Detroit, MI with warehousing and cross dock capabilities, and a secure monitored yard. As we grow our customer base, we raise the bar on industry standards and are recognized as a fair and reliable carrier. We make sure we are always miles ahead with customer service, and we take great pride in our driver appreciation.
2020 – We hold our own in times of uncertainty and as we were ready to accomodate our growth, we drove in. We have grown to 13 trucks, and opened our doors to owner operators. As much as we are committed to safety, we are also environmentally conscious, and are now a proud Smartway Carrier Partner. We have expanded our team of experts and welcomed a new safety director and an operations manager, with 38 years of combined industry experience specializing in expedite and critical freight.

How can I avoid adjustments?
Adjustments can be costly, but can mostly be avoided with accurate information.
Common adjustments occur around oversized items (more than 12 feet in length), lift-gates,
limited delivery access, residential fees, reclassifications and changes to the bill of lading.
What is a bill of lading?
The bill of lading (BOL) acts as an invoicing receipt in the shipping industry, and with many
motor carriers, the BOL is the contract of carriage between that motor carrier and the shipper.
It includes important information related to the shipment such as addresses, packaging type,
freight class, description of the goods and any special instructions.
