AIR FREIGHT
KCC provides integrated One-Stop Logistics Service including international transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and domestic trucking via KCC branch offices and worldwide partner network. With KCC’s state-of-the-art Logistics Information Systems, customer has full visibility of his cargo status from origin to destination. KCC is a member of IATA (#01-19440/0012) and offers complete air forwarding and consolidation services.
WAREHOUSING & DISTRIBUTION
KCC provides cost-effective, customized solutions to handle all of customer’s warehousing and distribution needs. With logistics expertise acquired and accumulated for over 25 years, we offer expedited order fulfillment and value added distribution to our warehouse customers. Also with our Warehouse Management System, clients have real time web access to monitor their own inventory stored at any one of our nationwide network warehouses.
KCC warehouses are located at excellent gateways to and from Asia providing our clients a choice of location for distribution in U.S.A.
Will my estimate be based on the weight of my shipment?
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
Do I need to be home during the move?
On the day of the move you need to be present. There is paperwork to sign and you need to
show the movers exactly what is being moved. After the movers have loaded the truck you will
be ask to do a walk through. That is the time to point out anything that may have been missed
once the truck drives away they are done.
At the unload they will place boxes in rooms based on the rooms written on the boxes
(ie., bedroom, kitchen, garage). Furniture will be placed in the location you specify.
It is helpful if you already have a basic idea where you want furniture placed.
If the movers have to keep rearranging and switching furniture around it will take longer
and you are paying hourly.
