Dangerous Goods
Mustang Freightways Ltd. is a fully accredited carrier and transports all classes of dangerous goods, except for Class 7 radioactive material, to all direct service points within Alberta and British Columbia.
Our drivers and warehouse staff are certified and trained in the handling of dangerous goods. Staff are retrained every three years as required by Transport Canada.

In Western Canada, we experience harsh weather conditions. Mustang Freightways operates the best equipment to transport your goods. For those shipments that require protection from freezing in Canada’s long winters, we outfit our trailers with “protect-from-freezing” heaters. It’s all about shipping with total peace-of-mind.

Less Than Truckload (LTL)
LTL is Mustang’s speciality. Our LTL services are tailored to fit your company’s individual needs. Mustang has developed an affiliate network in British Columbia to reach all communities across the West Coast.
Mustang Freightways has 2 major terminals in Alberta and 8 affiliate terminals in British Columbia. From origin to destination point there is complete shipment visibility and signed POD’s within 24 hours.
Mustang offers a truckload transportation service throughout western Canada. One of our team members would be happy to advise on the availability of equipment and provide a quote on rates and transit time.
Mustang Freightways operates a large, well maintained fleet of equipment. Whatever the requirement, we will find a way.
OUR NETWORK
Mustang Freightways is an asset-based carrier. We own and operate our equipment and service centers in western Canada. Your freight is picked up and delivered by Mustang. We have an extensive network of direct service points for our valued customers.
All loose items must be packed in boxes to prevent loss or damage while moving. It is
recommended that you pack all items and leave the drawers empty.
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.
In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.
Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.

prior to load day.
