J&R Hall Transport Inc. is a fourth generation, family-owned and operated, trucking company based in the Village of Ayr, Ontario. We have been in business for over 70 years, and offer expedited LTL and FTL transportation services across Canada from our terminals in Ayr, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Winnipeg.
J&R Hall has one of the highest Carrier Safety Ratings ever awarded in Canada. Less than 0.5% of carriers in Canada have ever achieved an excellent rating and we are proud to be among the 0.5%.

J&R Hall focuses on providing expedited LTL and FTL trucking services between Ontario and Western Canada.

Our fleet consists of over 90 air ride suspension-equipped tractors and 210 trailers that are all 53’ high cube tandem dry vans complete with logistic tracking. Satellite contact guarantees excellent communication at all times with our professional, dedicated teams and single drivers. In addition, we offer warehousing and distribution services at each of our terminal locations.

What do I do with my children on moving day?
If you have young children it is a good idea to do the move while they are in school or
daycare. You will be busy with the movers and it will be difficult for you to give your
child the attention he/she needs. It’s a much less stressful day for you if you children
are not home on moving day.
How long does it take to move?
This depends on many factors, such as the time of year, weather conditions, size of your
shipment, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment
is traveling.
Because the furnishings of the average household will not fill a truck, it is often necessary
for two or more shipments to be loaded on the same truck. Each shipment is carefully
sectioned off from the others.
With the help of computer-assisted dispatching system, pickup and delivery dates
are scheduled according to the origins and destinations of individual shipments on the trucks,
as well as shipment weight.
