OUR STORY
In 1924 Charles Imlach would deliver ice from his 1923 Ford truck. In the evening when his sons got home from school, they would help families and businesses with their moving. Quickly they realized the need people had for a trustworthy mover who would take care of their personal items like it was their own so they officially started their moving business in Lincoln Park, Michigan. The company was founded upon Charles’ strong work ethic and passion for service.

Throughout the 30s and 40s, Imlach Movers grew quickly, expanding the services it offered to its customers who entrusted their moves to a company with a growing reputation for great service. In 1951, Imlach Movers aligned their business with a nationally respected moving industry name and became an agent for Atlas Van Lines. Today, Imlach Group ranks as one of Atlas’ top revenue producers and largest hauling agents with locations in Trenton, MI (Detroit) and Dallas, TX.

Since our founding in 1924, we have remained committed to building a great reputation in the moving and storage industry as well as growing as a family business. We are proud to now have our fourth generation carrying on the long-standing tradition of excellence.
