WHO WE ARE
Established in 1961, Illos is family owned and operated.
Our company is comprised of skilled technicians and support staff which include craftsmen, sanders, strippers, trained woodworkers, wood finishers, piano movers, piano builders and tuners. All of our work is completed at our own facility. Joseph Illos is an active member of the Piano Technicians Guild. As an active member and Registered Piano Technician, he is able to provide qualified service anywhere in the United States through the guild.

We at Illos Piano Restorations are proud of our work and are proud to be a part of family music appreciation and the development of musical ability. We bring alive the internal and external beauty of the finest instrument of all time- the piano. We can provide a new or rebuilt piano and it will become the focal point of your home.

Our facility houses new and restored pianos, a complete printed music division, and accessories that will enrich your home. Our family’s 50 years of experience gained through referrals will be worthy of your trust.

Older furniture is of higher quality than most furniture built today. As is highly worthy of restoration and refinishing. Illos applies all its expertise in restoring the wood in fine pianos to furniture refinishing and restoring.

We do small jobs like Gluing of loose furniture, tables, chairs and end tables to larger jobs like full bedroom or dining room sets.

We don’t dip anything in stripper. we do everything by hand. Dipping loosens veneer and glue joints.

We restore original hardware and use high quality lacquer finishes.

We move pianos every day of the week. Professionals will diligently move your piano safely on to our specially designed truck, where your piano can travel safely.
