Idaho Truck Service is an irregular route transportation freight broker and asset based flatbed carrier that operates nationwide. We aim to be the best transportation company in the business that provides a well managed, safe service that relates to our slogan; “fair fare from here to there”.
Owners Neil and Kristina nurtured this company to life after a disappointing setback with the deregulation of the trucking industry in the 1980s. Neil’s never say die attitude alongside a dream to establish a dedicated transportation service brought Idaho Truck Service to life.
With over 40 years of experience in the freight broker transportation and coordination industries, this couple knows how to steer you (or your goods) in the right direction. Kristina is also passionate about education and training programs, making her a highly skilled and invaluable part of the team.
The team consist of a good balance of young and old, and our training ensures that they add to the growth and development of our business. Our team is highly adaptable to the industry expectations and because of our great customer retention, we’re able to satisfy our customer’s need down the road.
The company also consists of a team of agents who have their own customers and run their own operations. These agents are then provided with billing, collection, payables and then operate on our insurance bond. This enables us to have multiple office locations, broadening our scope and reach enable us to provide on-time and reliable freight broker transport and deliveries.

How should I package my items?
When shipping goods, it’s always important to minimize movement. Pack crates or boxes as full
as possible, with heavier items on the bottom. If the crate is not filled, use packing material
to plug the empty spaces.
How are freight shipments tracked?
Freight service providers offer tracking services online to access a shipment’s status 24/7
from your computer or mobile device. You can track a shipment with a BOL number, but you can often
access the shipment’s location with the pro number, PO number, shipment reference number and shipment
number as well.
