Guardian Moving & Storage began its journey in the moving and storage business in 1971 and became a part of the Atlas family of agents in 1972. In early 2002, Guardian was purchased by Indianapolis native, Jay Fuson. The company rebranded with a new name, logo, and tagline. Guardian Relocation with its highway to the future logo and tag line of “beyond expectations” was created.

2009 Home Moving and Storage, a Columbus, Ohio company with a solid foundation in providing exemplary customer service for National Account customers for more than 40 years is acquired by Guardian.
2012 Home Moving and Storage, although already a part of the Guardian family, officially rebrands as Guardian Relocation, becoming more recognizable to our combined customers, prospects and staffs.
2013 Guardian Relocation seeks to expand its footprint outside of the Mid- West and selects Memphis, Tennessee as its newest location. Memphis, known as a distribution and logistics city fits well with our diversified portfolio and enables us to provide commercial, residential and international services to the mid-south.
2015 ABC Moving, a St. Louis, Missouri company, and an Atlas Van Lines agent since 1972, becomes Guardian’s fifth location and our gateway to the west. Facilitating a location in St. Louis broadens Guardian’s sphere of service for today’s customers and tomorrow’s business partners.

What do I do if my home is not ready when I have to move? We have plenty of storage available to you from a temporary need to long term more permanent arrangement. Your belongings can be stored safely and securely at one of our facilities in Columbus, Ohio or Indianapolis, Indiana. We can also make arrangements for storage throughout the United States with one of our Atlas Van Lines partners.
