As a professional moving and packing company based out of Vancouver, we have the resources to get your home completely packed and ready the day before your move. We’re the Moving Company that Takes it Step by Step
Contract: We have you sign our contract that states all of the costs clearly, including the time we arrive and our hourly rate.
Walk Through: We do a walkthrough of your residence to confirm which items are going (and are not), and where they will be left in the new home.
Wrapping and Padding: We shrink-wrap and pad all the furniture to protect it from being scratched or damaged in transit.
Loading the truck: We load our trucks carefully, as the movement of the truck has the potential to damage furniture that is not properly padded or strapped down. Good thing we are Tetris truck packing masters!
Unloading: We unload the truck and put all your boxes and furniture in their proper locations. We assemble all beds and other dissembled items. Finally, we do any last minute touch up’s on any items that need to be moved or shifted.
Payment: Once we’re all done, we round the time to the closest quarter hour and present the final cost. For your convenience you can pay by cash, Interac, Visa, or MasterCard.

Quick Facts about Long Distance Moves
All long distance and intentional moves are charged by the pound.

We weigh the truck before it is loaded and then again after we’ve loaded it up. That gives us the weight and the price.

Surcharges or anything extra will all be quoted and agreed upon before you book. Surcharges are applied to over-sized items like canoes that take up a lot of space but don’t weigh much.

Sometimes the pick up or drop off location will not allow for transport trucks to access the building. In this case a shuttle is needed to transfer your belongings from your house to the long haul truck; this additional service will be part of the quote before you book.

Our promise: we will assess all the relevant charges so you know what your move is going to cost before you book.

Storage

Things to keep in mind include: how often you need access to your storage locker and how long you need it for. For example, the best option for extended periods of time is a storage container. If, however, you want regular access to your stored goods, a local public facility may be what you need. The difference in price between the two options is significant.
