Great Moving’s history in New York goes back to 1999-2000, when the current owners started working for local moving companies in New York. This was a great experience, not only in regards to learning the ins and outs of the business, but also to understand, why so many of residents in New York and New Jersey weren’t happy with their moving experiences. After working for other local New York moving companies for a number of years, the current owners decided to found Great Moving in order to serve New York and the surrounding areas with superior professional moving services and become one of the most highly rated moving companies in the Tri-state area.

Great Moving was launched in 2011 with one truck to offer local moves in New York and a couple of men to work with. Yet that didn’t deter our determined crew at Great Moving to pursue ultimate satisfaction and a hassle free moving experience for our customers as our one and only goal. Great Moving drive to perfection allowed us to quadruple our man power and fleet in a matter of only a couple of years.

Moving to storage will always be provided with necessary material for the furniture items for its stay in the unit ( material charge applies ).
