First Choice Moving and Storage Inc. Clarksville, Tennessee’s true locally owned moving and storage company. Owned and operated by Kenny Lieberstein and Tom Flores.
Kenny Lieberstein was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. He has four children. Kenny started this corporation in 1997 on a vision for success and started with one truck out of his home. He sold his 1995 Firebird to purchase a 24’ foot box truck. Before the moving company he worked in the restaurant business and missed out on a lot of family time to bring in the paycheck. In 2003 Kenny asked his best friend Tom Flores to partner with him.
Tom was delighted to get on board with Kenny. Tom also has four children and was also in the restaurant business.
Tom and Kenny are two of the most kind hearted and goal driven businessmen. From day one of employment, they have had a bond much like brothers do. They are always willing to work with the community when times are rough. As they always say, “If there is a will there is a way. “
In 2007, Tom and Kenny hired Jessica Swearingen as a receptionist. She has worked the front desk as well as loaded and unloaded trucks. She forms genuine relationships with customers and helps to increase business by taking the woman’s viewpoint. She currently holds title as the Office manager.

First Choice Moving and Storage Inc. is qualified to move you specialty items, and understand the depth of every procedure needed to provide these services. Pianos are always disassembled and reassembled properly.
Additional insurance can be purchased for anything in high value such as antiques. Many antiques have been passed through family members and hold sentimental value. We understand that these items are dear to the heart and cannot be replaced. As always First Choice Moving and Storage will go the extra mile to protect your belongings. We use quilted pads and bubble wrap to shield your items with the best protection.
Don’t forget we can move all hot tubs as well!
What is an in-house move? In-house moves are when you hire a crew to come in and move household goods with in the same location. For example, you want to have a bedroom suite moved from upstairs to downstairs. These jobs do not have minimum requirement (down-payment) for service.
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.
In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.
Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.
This is a confusing (but important) task, so be sure that you clearly understand the rules
prior to load day.
Appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators must be disconnected, and the washer
must have a stabilizer installed. Again, your estimator can help you understand how these
items are properly serviced. All local moving companies have business relationships with
local service providers that handle this type of service, however full service moving
companies and national moving companies will also be able to provide all of the moving
services you require. Be sure you know who your mover will be using, as you will need to let
these people into your home to provide the service.
