About Us
The story of Econo Moving & Storage starts with Franz, Karen, and one small warehouse in North Vancouver, which they quickly renovated into 200 self-storage units for rent. Due to the demand for storage on the North Shore, they quickly expanded their small business, with additional warehouse space and purchased a fleet of moving trucks to service the growing North Shore market.

Franz brought his knowledge of white glove service from Europe, and applied this training to all his movers, bringing a quality of service to the North Shore that was quickly appreciated! Karen managed the office, accounting & operations, while ensuring the best in customer service.

Fast-forward to 2022, Franz has now retired, and Karen is now the President and Owner of Econo Moving & Storage. Under Karen’s new leadership Econo now has permanent professional full-time moving staff, four storage warehouses on two sites, and a fleet of moving trucks
