East Coast Moving & Storage began operations in Saint John in 1954, under the guidance of a local businessman. It has always endeavored to maintain the ethic, hard work and dedication of its business founder. Shortly after it began operations, East Coast Moving & Storage became an agent for Allied Van Lines, and over the intervening years has won many outstanding achievement awards for exemplary service. Its consistent performance and dedication to customer needs is well recognized. With superior levels of service in a demanding industry, it became known for high quality and good value.

Always an active part of the community, East Coast Moving & Storage has shown strong support for a number of civic organizations including the Board of Trade and Saint John Rotary Club, as well as industry groups like the Saint John Transportation Club. It is also a participant in developmental ventures such as the Youth Apprenticeship Program in New Brunswick and the Let’s Get Connected Community Access Centre. In 1996 the company was nominated for the Saint John Board of Trade outstanding business achievement award.

East Coast Moving & Storage has over 50 employees in Saint John and another 50 in its affiliated companies. As a member of Allied Van Lines, the company has a network of agents around the world.
