Welcome to Eagle Moving, an experienced and locally owned commercial and residential moving company in Fort Myers, FL. At Eagle Moving, all of our movers are clean-cut, reliable, and professionally trained and will work hard to make your move as smooth as possible.

We are professionals with large box trucks (up to 26 feet), dollies, hand trucks, furniture pads, and all the necessary tools. Our prices are much less than the big guys because we are locally owned and operated, not a franchise. Best of all we charge a flat hourly rate!

My name is Jake Loveland and this is my beautiful wife Kelli and our 2 future movers Max & Bo. I am the Owner and Managing Partner of Eagle Moving in beautiful Southwest Florida.

I graduated from the University of Kentucky’s Radiology Program in May 2010. I worked in Radiology for a couple of years and worked as a mover on the side at Wildcat Moving in Lexington, Kentucky. After working for 2 years as a mover, we became the number one moving company in the state of Kentucky according to Angie’s List.

As the company started to grow, I decided to transition careers and I moved into the office at Wildcat Moving full-time, taking the position as the Director of Operations. I then branched out and fulfilled a life long dream to live in Florida near my family and friends and start Eagle Moving, here in Fort Myers!

Eagle Moving’s fair by the minute charging, (no “milking” the clock), keeps our customer’s mind at ease during this stressful time. With our honest and upfront pricing, you don’t have to worry about any surprises or charges for lunch breaks and fuel stops. The best part is we start and stop the clock at your home, so there are no charges from or back to our office like most other companies charge. We charge a local travel fee to pay our crew for that time plus gas and mileage. (Only $50 one-time travel fee inside Lee and Collier counties. $65 travel fee for Charlotte county)

Moving can be a very stressful experience. People often experience a time crunch trying to balance their work life with attempting to prepare for their upcoming move. This leads to many people attempting to pack everything the day before they’re supposed to move out—which is never a good idea. Here at Eagle Moving, we’ll go the extra mile to help make your move as convenient and as stress-free as possible, which is why we offer additional packing services.

Having the right supplies makes a big difference when you’re preparing to move. If we are providing packing services we will bring all supplies the day of your move and only charge for what is used. If you are packing yourself and only need supplies we charge a $50 travel fee to deliver plus the regular fee for supplies. Any supplies not used we will buy back.

If you are moving out of city or out of state and we are loading a rental truck or storage container, we highly recommend buying blankets and straps to ensure a safe trip. We sell both.
