Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal was formed in December 1998 and is one of the only privately owned full service deep water multi-modal port facilities within the New York Harbor, strategically located in the center of the Kill Van Kull industrial waterway bordering New York & New Jersey serving an integral role as a maritime route between Port Newark, Port Elizabeth & the New York Harbor. Duraport’s increasing success is based on its ability to identify, acquire & develop location critical real estate within the New Jersey – New York Harbor to support a strategy of managing the entire process of operating and owning an expanding network of terminal facilities & infrastructure that provides options for real customer driven logistics solutions for Marine Deep Water Port Services: bulk cargo loading / off loading / RO/RO, Unit Train Staging, Warehouse Storage, Truck-Railcar-Marine Tran loading and Dry Bulk Cargo Terminaling. The Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal is a 30 acres fully paved terminal featuring a new bulkhead installation with a berthing length of 800 feet to accommodate Panamax Vessels, barges, RO/RO, as well as ship to rail facility.

Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal offers rail services on site with a 60 car gondola storage on site capability.

Our Port facility is equipped with a 300 ton gantry crane, heavy lift cranes, multitude of material handling equipment, railroad shuttle wagon and goldhofer to efficiently move your equipment and cargo in, out and around the terminal. Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal is an integrated facility with capabilities to accept equipment & cargo by marine, rail and truck.

In addition to Panamax Vessels, barges & 60 railcar gondola on site storage with in house trucking capability for loading, off loading & trans-loading, for your cargo needs. We offer over 250,000 SF of climate controlled warehouse space with additional 25 acres of upland property rental to accommodate the various on going project & cargo needs, both long term and short term.
