Local and long-distance LTL experts!
Hello, we are Dracut Carriers. We are a family-run business that started in February of 2019 with the plan of hauling hay for our local farms. Since then our services have expanded greatly. We offer HotShot trucking, LTL deliveries, Final Mile, and Courier transport.
Our service specialties focus on Lumber & decking, Rooftop HVAC units, and salvage vehicles. our service area is located in Massachusetts and the greater East Coast.
Equipment
We utilize multiple vehicles with a focus on LTL flatbed service. such as
– 24ft flatbed straight truck,
– 3500 Chevrolet truck with a 32 ft PJ flatbed trailer with a powered dovetail for easy and safe loading of vehicles.
– 1500 with car hauling trailer. & enclosed 8 ft bed for dry delivery
– Sedan for important stat delivery of small goods.
Our heavy-duty trucking is Fully FMCSA compliant for motor carriers.
Our 3500 truck is outfitted with 4X4 capability and we can get onto most farms or unfinished worksites.
For our local courier services, we utilize our truck 6-8ft bed which is covered up to 21″ and can be uncovered for tall loads.
The less handling the better!
With our direct shipping, you know your shipment is handled safely without being transferred from one truck to another before reaching its destination.
You have the right to receive an estimate based on a physical (in-house) survey of your
shipment. Under the regulations, your mover must base your estimate (either binding,
non-binding, or not-to-exceed), on a physical survey of the household goods to be moved if
the goods are located with a 50-mile radius of your mover’s (or his agent’s) place of business.
You may elect to waive this requirement for a physical survey, but if you elect to do so,
you must sign a written waiver of your rights.
In all likelihood, you will find that an on-site estimate based on a physical survey
of the items that you plan on moving will be more accurate than an estimate that you
provide to your mover over the telephone or the Internet. So, unless circumstances warrant
(normally due to the time constraints of a short-notice move or because you are only shipping
a few items) think carefully before you elect to waive the required physical survey
of your shipment.
