Why we started doing this
Dorm Room Movers was founded by two Arizona State University graduates in 2007 to help simplify the college moving process and make moving out of the dorms as effortless and simple as possible. Both of them experienced the grueling pain of hauling their belongings to and from various locations and storage facilities in the 100+ degree heat. They thought to themselves, “There has to be a better way!” As a result, Dorm Room Movers was born.
In June of 2017, Dorm Room Movers acquired assets of All College Inc bringing both the team, as well as the colleges & boarding schools served under All College Storage and All Campus Storage brands in to the Dorm Room Movers Family.
Dorm Room Movers eliminates the stress and hassle of moving, so that students can spend their time on more important things, like studying.

We offer full-service moving, storage & shipping services for college students around the nation both on and off campus. We’ve served over 85,000 students at campuses across the country with storage and shipping solutions.
Full Service Storage and Shipping
Whether you’re going home for the summer or studying abroad we’ll take care of your stuff so you don’t need to lift a finger. Spend your time hanging out with your friends, studying or doing anything other than moving! We can also send a few boxes home if you need to.
Shipping items home without storage
Whether you’re going home for the summer, graduating, or just trying to free up closet space in your dorm, shipping with Dorm Room Movers is a breeze! Packing supplies are distributed via UPS then everything is shipped home via UPS with $100 coverage per item.
Shipping to college
Have stuff you want to bring to school, but don’t feel like paying the airline baggage fees just to haul it yourself? We’ll send empty boxes to your house. Just pack, print shipping labels, and schedule a pickup on our website, and we’ll ship them to your college. At select campuses we can even deliver to your dorm room!

Study abroad storage takes the stress out of handling all your belongings while you’re abroad. We pickup, store, and deliver!

Will my estimate be based on the weight of my shipment?
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
When is the best time to move?
The busiest times for moving companies are typically during the summer months, May-September.
If you are planning a move during that time you should make arrangements early.
Friday and Saturdays are big moving days so if you have flexibility in your schedule it can
be easier to get a date during the week rather than a weekend.
