Dale J. Cook Moving and Storage, Inc has been providing moving services in the Lowcountry for over 60 years. Our family business was founded by our grandfather (Dale J. Cook) in 1953, making us one of the oldest moving companies in Charleston, South Carolina. Depending on your preference, we can accommodate a full-service move or any portion of your relocation. Our packing services are provided by our own team of long-term employees. Just watching them work is a wonder! Services include all of the moving boxes and packing supplies needed to safely pack and move your belongings. If you prefer to pack some or all of the items yourself, we can provide the moving boxes, crates, packing materials and tape at competitive prices. Regardless of how much of the move you want to handle yourself, we will be glad to provide a free estimate. We want to help you determine how much and what type of packing materials are needed for your move.

Dale J. Cook Moving and Storage, Inc is one of the leading Charleston storage companies. We can provide storage space for your valuables as part of a local or long-distance relocation or as private storage on a monthly basis. Our warehouses are designed to provide safe, secure storage for anything and everything of value, including personal furnishings or business equipment.

Our 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse is located on Cross County Road in North Charleston; all items are stored in wooden vaults.

We will bring a storage vault(s) to your location and load it at your site. When you are ready for your items to be delivered, we again bring the vault and unload it at your location.

This minimizes the number of times your valuables are handled, thus eliminating unnecessary chances for damage. The charges for our storage vaults are monthly and based on weight.

Normal loading and unloading charges will apply.

We can provide full or partial packing services including all of the moving boxes, crates, packing materials and tape at competitive prices that you may need to prepare your items for storage.
