Our 6,000 warehouse facility in beautiful Hillsborough, North Carolina has been owned and operated by the Intrator family, serving our customers and the community since 1988.
As the original owners of Chapel Hill Moving Company, Roland and Wendy Intrator purchased the warehouse as a way to serve moving clients as they transition. Offering long and short-term storage options for clients all over the Triad and the Triangle, we specialize in full-service storage as a way to personalize your storage experience and build a reputation of trust with all customers.
Since then, Micah Intrator, son of Roland Intrator, has continued the family’s tradition with his professional moving company, Orange County Moving & Storage and continues the full-service offering with his second generation expertise in a lifetime of moving, packing and storing his customers.
County Attic boasts long-standing business relationships with storage clients spanning over 30 years and we look forward to welcoming you to the family.

If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
The busiest times for moving companies are typically during the summer months, May-September.
If you are planning a move during that time you should make arrangements early.
Friday and Saturdays are big moving days so if you have flexibility in your schedule it can
be easier to get a date during the week rather than a weekend.
